Buy Amarok [2HB] 2023 > Carpet Mat Set – 2HJ 061 270 A WGK in the UK – Genuine Volkswagen Parts in Stock

Product Overview

The genuine Volkswagen Premium Textile Carpet Mat Set for the second-generation Amarok [2HB] platform is classified as an authentic OEM/Genuine interior cabin accessory. Positioned securely inside both the front and rear passenger footwells, this comprehensive four-piece set intercepts, absorbs, and isolates everyday interior threats—such as abrasive grit, rain water, mud, damp salt residues, and spilled liquids—before they can penetrate and permanently stain the vehicle’s primary floor carpeting. By acting as a durable, removable barrier, these premium mats protect the steel floor pans underneath from moisture retention that leads to hidden rust. They feature a high-density, tightly woven polyamide textile surface layer combined with a heavy-duty, waterproof rubberised non-slip backing, striking an ideal balance between premium cabin luxury and rugged utility protection.

Compatibility & Fitment

Achieving a completely flush, non-shifting layout is vital for driver and passenger floor mats to ensure that loose textile edges never slide forward and jam the accelerator, brake, or clutch pedals, or bunch up under the front seats. The 2HJ 061 270 A WGK carpet mat set is manufactured to the exact floorpan blueprints of the re-engineered modern Amarok [2HB] generation built from 2023 onwards. The front mats feature factory-matched retention eyelets designed to snap securely onto the existing plastic anchoring pegs located on the truck’s cabin floor.

• Volkswagen Amarok [2HB] Platform: (Optimised precisely for modern right-hand drive UK models from model year 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026 onwards, covering standard, Life, Style, PanAmericana, and Aventura trim lines).

How It Works

The footwell of a premium pickup truck is subjected to high levels of abrasive wear. As you enter and exit the cab, your footwear grinds coarse sand, gravel, and moisture into the floor fabric. The Volkswagen Amarok [2HB] carpet mat set works by trapping these particles within its high-density tufted textile pile, stopping them from spreading across the cabin floor. The waterproof underside backing acts as a liquid barrier, preventing dampness from soaking through to the underlying vehicle insulation.

Over thousands of miles of driving across the UK, non-genuine universal mats quickly show signs of failure. They lack precise laser-cut shapes, causing them to curl at the corners, slide under the pedals, or leave major areas of the carpet unprotected. Common wear indicators or symptoms that signal it is time to upgrade to genuine replacements include worn-through heel pads under the driver’s feet, missing or broken floor attachment clips, fraying perimeter edges, and a damp, musty smell in the cabin caused by cheap mats absorbing moisture without drying properly.

Performance Benefits

• Absolute Footwell Protection: Isolates wet mud, coarse grit, and abrasive dirt across both the front and rear rows, preserving the pristine condition of the factory floor carpet underneath.

• Pedal Clearance Safety: Integrated factory retention eyelets lock the driver and front passenger mats firmly onto the floor studs, ensuring they never slip forward or interfere with pedal operation.

• Premium Cabin Comfort: The high-grade polyamide textile pile enhances interior sound dampening while providing a comfortable, luxurious feel underfoot.

• Tailored Aesthetic Appeal: Features high-quality edge binding, a perfect color match to the factory interior, and the distinctive “Amarok” branding to elevate the cabin’s visual identity.

• Simple Interior Maintenance: Easily removable for shaking out loose dirt, vacuuming, or deep pressure washing after a demanding day on site.
